Creative atmosphere at the 50th Hellenic Shoe Fair

The 50th event of the HELLENIC SHOE FAIR closed its gates on May 9th 2011 at EXPO ATHENS, leaving a very sweet taste to the participants. The luxury exhibition center which worked first time for the fair won the best reviews of exhibitors and visitors.

Thousands strong visitors met at the fair where they were presented the latest collections by the 71 exhibitors. The visitors were in the majority from southern Greece, Islands, Cyprus, Central Greece, with a smaller percentage from foreign companies that visited the exhibition. The rate met a decrease of 11%, which is small in relation to the shrinking market.

Exhibitors were once more leading importers, European companies and OVYE with 7 manufacturing companies won a highly visible presence.

The collections presented addressed mostly for the winter of 2012, but some companies aimed at further orders for this summer.
